The Sound of Owenduff

A mild Winter’s day at Owenduff. This track starts out in the grain storage shed at the back of the farm. Here, birds come and go, the breeze blows though the yard, and cattle move around in the sheds. We head outside to a spot overlooking the farm. The wind blows through the hedge behind and around the yard. Spring is coming; the birds are busy darting around the farm. We move down the hill from the farm and out into the open. It’s more exposed here and the wind has started to pick up. It’s a dry day, but the ground is still sodden from the recent rain. You can hear the water soaking into the ground below. As we reach the bottom of the valley we meet the Owenduff River where it splits the fields. The river heads south from here, where it eventually flows out into Wexford’s Bannow Bay.
