PIQUE-NIQUE SUMMER ’22

Golden meadow, babbling brook, zephyr breeze, azure sky; a lazy, hazy dejeuner sur l’herbe under dappled relief, a blanket on the grass & time on one’s hands. Pique-Nique is an occasional, lighthearted, seasonal dram created with only such frivolous bucolic pleasures in mind – this is a new expression of Head Distiller Ned’s little summer pudding of Single Farm Origin synthesis.

Note: For 2022, we intended to release only 1,200 bottles – as the labels, which are created in advance, state. However – and we’re absolutely not blaming Head Distiller Ned’s use of a calculator – we only made enough for 650 bottles, or thereabouts…

Head Distiller's Observations

Appearance: Rose gold with tear drop oils.

Nose: Perfumed elegance, lavender, barley dust, white chocolate, red apple peel, mandarin orange, fresh cut grass, fruity bubble gum.

Taste: Dry pear, light spice, ripe banana, biscoff, mouth puckering, dark chocolate, cherry cola, sultanas, barley sugar, bell pepper, fruit cake.

Finish: Dry, lingering light spice, chewable, light clove.
