Good Vibrations

At once a complex soundscape; a little pocket symphony; a late-summer evocation of good times with carefree conviviality & the afternoon sunlight on one’s face. Good Vibrations indeed. It was this spirit that inspired our collaboration with friends at La Maison du Whisky to produce a sophisticated, playful assemblage. Following the flavour chemistry of individual farms from distillates to whisky induced a harmonious coming-together of instrumentals from our rarest solo artists: Arcadian harvests of Organic, Biodynamic & Peated whiskies from the exceptional 2019 vintage. A layered flavourscape – greated than the sum of its radical parts.

Appearance: Barley gold with the sun shining through the barely and oils that grip tightly to the glass.

Nose: Cooked banana, campfire, warm damp hay, rolled barley, apricot ‘s, sea spray, lemon sherbet, orange zest, sawdust, bruised pear skins, chocolate malted milk biscuits.

Taste: Dry spices, prunes, chilli flakes, liquorice, wood chair clove, salted BBQ, herbal, apple tart with cream, ginger nut biscuits, iodine.

Finish: Dry spices that tingle and dance on the tongue with gingerbread and campfire air.
