MARKET MANAGERS REQUIRED IN NEW YORK, TEXAS & CALIFORNIA

Waterford Whisky is on a quest to unearth whisky’s most natural flavours – making us unlike any other spirits brand.

Flavour obsessed, terroir-driven, and with an elite approach to production techniques, we are on a crusade to create the most flavoursome, profound and natural whiskies in the world, with a focus on the key raw material: barley.

Our distribution of unique and compelling single malt whiskies has grown from zero to almost 50 countries in our first year. To help us further our mission we are now seeking field agents, in-market provocateurs for the USA, to help evangelise our philosophy and methodologies to the drinks community and beyond.

Ambassadors for barley above tales, educators of elite production values over industry-standard efficiency, we require new recruits who share our rigorous values to deliver our flavour-first, terroir-driven messages to the front lines.

Waterford Whisky is unique, and not for everyone. Therefore we need evangelists of a strong disposition and sharp mind when engaging in a range of in-market activities, which include:

• Develop the relationship between brand, importer and distributor

• Working closely alongside our importer/distribution partners to execute our strategy in market

• Drive education of product architecture and TEIREOIR code through respective distribution networks, particularly with retail managers, sommeliers, bartenders and well beyond

• Conducting trade and retail tastings and sales tours

• Co-ordinating local communications plansCo-ordinating regional event activity

• Collecting reliable in-market intelligence

• Managing local budgets and tools

• Analysing monthly depletions

• Ultimately build community

As a representative of Waterford Whisky, you’ll need to be an excellent communicator, a fantastic relationship-builder, proactive and driven to work intuitively when on your own in the field.

You will need to make a tactful effort to convert consumers of all kinds into loyal evangelists in their own right. It goes without saying that you’d be truly curious about the real origins of whisky’s flavour.
